TNPL Integrates New Valmet Technology for Hardwood Kraft Pulp Production

Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) has taken a major leap in its manufacturing capabilities by integrating a state-of-the-art hardwood kraft pulp production system. As part of this expansion, TNPL has partnered with Valmet to implement its advanced Continuous Cooking G3 and TwinRoll Press technologies at the mill.

This strategic upgrade is designed to significantly improve pulp quality, energy efficiency, and operational sustainability. The adoption of Valmet’s Continuous Cooking G3 ensures a highly efficient cooking process with reduced chemical and steam consumption, while the TwinRoll Press technology enhances washing efficiency and pulp cleanliness.
