Successful start-up of second ANDRITZ pressurized refining system for Wisewoods, Thailand

refining system
International technology group ANDRITZ has successfully started up another pressurized refining system at the Wisewoods mill in Phetchaburi, Thailand.

The new system produces fibers from rubberwood for high-quality medium density fiberboard, significantly increasing the mill’s production capacity. The heart of the 30 t/h system is the high-efficiency pressurized refiner, which delivers superior fiber quality at reduced energy consumption. ANDRITZ also supplied a plug-screw feeder designed to optimize dewatering prior to refining, ensuring efficient pre-steaming and reducing specific energy consumption.

This successful start-up strengthens the partnership between Wisewoods and ANDRITZ and further solidifies ANDRITZ’s position as a leading global supplier to the panelboard industry. Wisewoods Co., Ltd is a renowned player in the wood panel industry, manufacturing high-quality MDF products for the Middle East and Asia.
