With the partnership of Paques Environmental Technology India Pvt Ltd., Arab Paper Manufacturing Company (WARAQ), one of the finest and the first containerboard paper mill in the Kingdom, has chosen to operate its plant in a closed loop process.
The Robust BIOPAQ® IC Technology will be designed, supplied & commissioned by Paques India at Arab Papers in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This will be the first Closed Loop Plant in the region of Middle East.
About WARAQ:
Located in the Industrial City of Dammam, WARAQ was the first Kraft Paper Mill in Saudi Arabia and the largest in GCC. WARAQ has an aggregated production capacity of 500,000 MT/Year. First Paper Machine has a finished trim of 4.2 meters and produces paper in the range of 80-200 GSM. Second Paper Machine is a Twin-Wire machine with a finished trim of 5.0 meters capable of making paper from 80-300 GSM. Third Paper Machine is a Twin-Wire machine with a finished trim of 6.5 meters. WARAQ produces Fluting, Testliner, Whitetop Testliner, Whitetop Kraftliner and Kraftliner which are essesential components of corrugated cartons. WARAQ also produces Unbleached CorEboard which is converted into textile bobbins and paper tubes for various applications.
